School Wins Gold.

Congratulations to Aylsham High School whose Show Garden won GOLD at the 2019 Royal Norfolk Show. The themes the students had to include in their design were Tourism, volunteering and well-being. They divided the garden into 5 areas showing the Bure Valley Railway, Marriott’s Way, Repton’s grave garden in Aylsham's Parish Church, Blickling Hall and grounds and their school garden.
The train and finger post were made by one of the students.
The student's entry into the Show competition formed part of the Year 9 Independence Confidence and Employability Course. Two Bloom volunteers help in the High School with the horticultural part of the programme and were delighted with the result, as were the students and staff.
